U.S. Patent No. 2,569,354 (43980 bytes)

Patent no. 2,569,354 was issued to Mearl V. Tracy on
September 25, 1951.
      This  machine, while not specifically designed for cutting
shapes, uses two pantograph assemblies in conjunction
with each other to guide a saw.  The outer end of the hori-
zontal pantograph employs a small crank that permits the
saw height from the table to be adjusted.
       We probably have all seen variations of this design
at one time or another in lumber yards, etc.
